I am Jon, I am a certified dog trainer and Behavioral Specialist and the owner of Hero's K9 Training. I have certifications from multiple dog training programs and a Master's Degree in Canine Science. I am also a retired US Army Officer with 24 years of service with multiple deployments.
I know firsthand the challenges and stress that PTSD has on many veterans and first responders.
By working with dogs and service animals I learned the key role that a Service Animal, a Therapy and Emotional Support Animal can play in assisting one in their recovery.
